  Went to Hat City a while back and must say that I loved the experience. I can't say that was the case on last night as me and a buddy went there for dinner, drinks, and listen to a band in the spirit of celebrating Mardi Gras.
  
  The food was good as normal but Robin (the rude bartender) announces to me and my friend that the place was crowded and some other people who ordered food were going to leave if they could not get a seat to eat at the bar insinuating that me and my friend offer them our seat (as some rude/drunk guy in the background yells "Exactly") . Please note we had just finished our main course, ordered/waiting on additional drinks, and had not had the opportunity to order dessert. The bar was full of people and we were offended that he would even approach us as we were doing nothing to draw any attention to ourselves..
  
  In an attempt to resolve and discuss the issue with him, he then informs us that he saw nothing wrong with what he said because it is a local bar. His attitude was horrible and he should not be employed here. I won't be back and I will make sure I tell others to pass this place as well. Very sad and disappointed!

  Was the wife and I first and possibly our last experience at this restaurant. The appetizers were ok, she had the crab puppies and I had the bacon and blue lettuce wedges. Our entrée (we both had the same thing) was jambalaya. The shrimp, chicken and sausage had no taste at all. No cajun spice at all.
